About

Offline Pocket started because we kept hitting the same wall: half the games we downloaded refused to open without a connection, and the other half nagged us for ads every thirty seconds. We wanted a simple, honest list of games that behave when you're on the tube or waiting somewhere with dead Wi-Fi.

We're a small editorial team. Nobody here is a marketing department. We install a game, play it for a few hours over a few days, and only then write about it. If something falls apart after the tutorial, we say so.

Our pick rule is boring but strict: the game has to be free to download, it has to run its core loop fully offline, and it has to be fun enough that we'd keep it on our own phones. Games that lock everything behind a paywall or need constant syncing don't make the cut.

We update the catalogue when we find something good, not on a schedule. Quality over churn. If you spot a hidden gem, tell us.
